Engineering Senior Department Manager Employer Premier Services & Recruitment Job Title Engineering Senior Department Manager Country Egypt Job Category Engineering, Manufacturing / Production, Mechanical Engineer Job Type Full Time  Description —The Engineering Senior Department Manager will be responsible to provide site engineering, maintenance (civil, electrical, instrumentation & mechanical) and utility services which will enable planned production targets to be achieved, within agreed parameters of cost, quality, safety and technical efficiency. He is also responsible for managing & controlling expansion projects. —To liaise with the Production Department, in order to maintain process and utilities plant and equipment so that output targets and technical performances are attained within agreed budgets. —Ensures that preventive electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance are planned and controlled so that plant down-time is minimized at all times and output is affected as little as possible —Ensures that the materials, including spare parts, required for maintenance and projects are properly determined and specified for procurement by the Purchasing Department. —Contributes to the revision of the engineering drawings of the projects, and provide management and overlook the execution of expansion projects. —To contribute to the maintenance of the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the refinery site. —Works safely at all times Observes all quality & housekeeping policies. Keeps own work area clean & hygienic —Provides advice to the Supply Chain Director with respect to the overall strategic direction of ASC. Qualifications •High level of interpersonal and organizational skill. •Commercial approach to business management especially budgetary control techniques and capital expenditure evaluation. •15 years experience in Heavy industries in an Engineering Position. •Good written and oral presentation skills are essential. •Ability to work closely with the factory Production Manager and other Departmental Heads is an important requirement of this role.
