Description | 1.Plan, organize, direct, control, evaluate the work in the media department. 2.Develop communications strategies and programs designed to inform clients, employees and the general public of initiatives and policies of the organization. 3.Gather, research and prepare communications material for internal and external audiences 4.Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to identify the interests and concerns of key groups served by the organization. 5.Prepare reports, briefs, bibliographies, Managing Directors speeches, presentations, Web sites and press releases 6.Arrange workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising , information purposes and awareness. 7.Initiate and maintain contact with the imprint and audio visual media. 8.Arrange interviews and news conferences 9.Answer written and oral inquiries by media. 10.Develop and implement advertising campaigns appropriate for print or electronic media. 11.Develop and implement training events for the media. 12.Coordinate and participate in public awareness communication campaigns |
Qualifications | •A university degree in communications, journalism, public relations or any relevant field. •Diploma in media or communication is an asset. •Minimum 15 years experience in media development sector. •Excellent knowledge of advertising, public relations , communications. •Strongly connected to the media community. |
